Chicken Douexlle (not sure if I spelled that right) was excellent. Green beans were so delicious. Not institutional food!! Great food. Hubby had the Rum crepe cake and he was in heaven. Definitely recommend.
This is a tough review to write because it’s half good and half really bad. We made an Easter Sunday reservation online with Open Table and it was confirmed with text and email. When we arrived they had s sign on the door saying they were closing early at the time of our reservation . We entered and we’re told we couldn’t eat and also told it want Foolish Craig’s apparently an April’s fools joke however it was freezing out and we had a baby with us. We left and realized we were st Fookish Craig’s and went back showing them our reservation and they agreed to sit us. Now the staff was friendly and service was good however we watched as people with reservations got turned away and we also felt pressured to rush our meal and thank God the baby didn’t need to eat! Food was ok nothing special but again the whole experience kind of ruined our holiday meal.
We chose this place because of its “triple D” status and its rep for crepes. My wife had the rum Carmel breakfast crepe and it met our expectations. However, I ordered the fried chicken Benedict with sausage gravy and breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were cold which we pointed to our server only to get more luck warm potatoes. The sausage gravy was so thin and liquid that you it had no flavor. Perhaps an off day for Foolish Craig’s.
Food was good, close to Boulder Theater where we had a 5 pm movie. all in all enjoyed it and would definitely go again.
Chicken salad bland. Pasta in pasta salad over cooked.
