Fringe A Well Tapped Eatery - Boulder

I was thrilled to visit Fringe's dine-in location! I've been a fan since their Gunbarrel days. The lamb pepperoni, melt-in-your-mouth meatballs, and black pepper ice cream had our taste buds surprised and delighted with every bite! I highly recommend this place for a delicious meal with a great variety of toppings, wine, and beer!

This casual and laid-back restaurant features welcoming staff and serves high-quality pizza and salads. While there are many average pizza spots in Boulder, this one truly stands out and holds its own alongside Basta.

Fringe offers some of the best pizza in Boulder. The food is excellent, the beer selection is impressive, and the service is exceptional. This place is truly fantastic!

FoodMy husband and I had the Broccolini and the Eggplant Parmesan with vegan cheese substitute. The Broccolini was quite difficult to eat due to it being too fibrous or maybe undercooked? It was almost impossible to cut the stem with the knive that we received. Would not recommend this dish.The pizza however was nice! The eggplant with balsamic glaze was delicious.ServiceWas adequate. The response to my question about what options there were as a vegan was not very helpful. Also, you don't get a replacement if ingredients are removed to make a dish vegan, but you do have to pay more if you want vegan cheese?AtmosphereRelaxed. And I liked the painted mural.Vegetarian options: They offer vegan cheese. They only cater to the vegan diet by removing meat/dairy and using vegan cheese as substitute; it's not like they have standard vegan options.

Unfortunately I have come to expect cold food from GrubHub. I saw that my pizza and salad were picked up the restaurant is 1.2 miles from my house. It was picked up on time just before 6:00. Immediately upon pick up, the time for delivery was changed to will be late my food wouldn 't arrive for another 30 40 minutes. Even though the pizza was in an insulated bag until the driver reached my door, it was cold. And it was missing the extra pizza sauce I requested. I found the pizza to be fine probably better if eaten at Fringe. The salad was just ok. $12 for a bowl of arugula with a tablespoon of cheese is ridiculous. I would eat at the restaurant but don 't know that I would order through GrubHub again.
