L'Hirondelle restaurant

On a day trip to have a nice lunch and walk around Boulogne Sur Mer, the three of us were looking forward to the pre planned excursion and restaurant. Nothing disappointed us especially so the meal. The hosts made us truly welcome and the food was superb. We had a very good choice of menu and explanation in English was freely given by the chef. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a lovely meal and wine from a reasonably priced （including service）menu。

Five of us visited for an evening meal. The food and service were excellent. Four of us had the €38 menu and another had a la carte. There was a problem with The a la carte main but it was sorted out professionally and impeccably. Really good food and service and a sensibly priced wine list. The only slight flaw was that we were the only diners so there was a bit of a lack of ambience. I would definitely return if I visit Boulogne again.

Popped in here for lunch with my parents. Proof that looks can be deceiving. From the outside you might not think much of it but try their food and you'll be won over. Lovely simple dishes bursting with flavour. The Plat Du Jour offered great value. Lovely desserts and top notch coffee. The couple who run it are a delight and they speak English too. The chef comes round to talk you through the menu too. Clearly popular with locals which is a great sign. Booking probably wise. Definitely going here again!
