El Dorado - Bountiful

The service was good at this restaurant. The chips and salsa were delicious, but the rest of the food was mediocre at best. The enchiladas were very soggy and the rice was overcooked. The tacos also had soggy tortillas, although the meat was tasty. Perhaps we visited on a bad night or too late, but our overall experience was not good. We would rate the food a 1, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.

I dine at this restaurant regularly, often once a week. They serve the best tacos in the area, with the Carne Asada being a favorite among customers. Personally, I really enjoy the tacos de Cabeza as well. All of their other dishes, such as chips and salsa, occasional soups, etc., are also delicious. Their side of beans is the best I've had anywhere. It's a family-run local establishment and they do an excellent job. The dine-in service is also top-notch.

Barbacoa is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We love coming back for more. We usually get takeout for dinner and the food is always top-notch. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is also great. Overall, I would give Barbacoa a 5 out of 5 for both food and service.

I visited this restaurant with my elderly mother, who is very particular about her food. I was swayed by the great Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed. El Dorado was fantastic! The chips and salsa were a standout, with the chips being freshly fried and the salsa, while deemed "too spicy" by my mom (who thinks anything other than ketchup is spicy), was actually quite mild and freshly made. I ordered her two street tacos, one carnitas and one al pastor, with a side of beans. She preferred the al pastor, but honestly, I couldn't tell them apart. She also loved the beans, which she is quite particular about. She enjoyed the meal so much that she took the leftovers home, which is rare for her. I had the flautas plate, which was also delicious with hand-rolled flautas served with rice and beans. I was in heaven! I am now eager to spread the word about El Dorado, although part of me hopes to keep it a hidden gem for future visits.
