We stopped in this place for lunch while we were heading to the gorges of the arèche. Located in the middle of a wood, at the edge of a fairly passer-by department, the hostel has a real potential, but I think that neither the decor nor the kitchen have evolved since the opening. Maybe about 30 years? the welcome was nice, we were able to eat outside. We took a full menu that. entries were correct (jambon raw and terrine) but I doubt it was local products. First damage. main dish: tasteful meat, but sauce with box mushrooms, green beans (probably frozen) really too beurred, dauphinois gratin very good for cream lovers. positive point: tray for dry cheese, so of choice, but there also no trace of local goat cheese. Only one of us took a dessert: homemade chocolate mousse, but unfortunately really too sweet...Break, when I saw the word inn I naively thought that local products would be a minimum in honor, but no.

We found ourselves in this restaurant for a family meal. from the outside a quiet and soothing place by its location but the inside. an anxiety between:- the decoration very old but above all that can put very uncomfortable, straw animals by ten and very tern and depressing paintings. - and the waiter, depressing, not letting a smile or a word. He made us think all along about a member of the Adams family. But he gave us the impression that we disturbed him. Let's go to dinner now. we are very far from being complicated, but there is nothing tasty, everything is very fade: the frog thighs are floury and bathe in oil, the snails are no longer good (we had to send them back to the kitchen) and a cute very dry net!In normal time, I find that 23€ is largely correct for a good meal. but there, the quality/price is not at all especially that we did not take dessert. a advice, put in part in case of big change (of owner, for example) or a brutal questioning was not going there!!! instead I will continue to say that in view of the location, it is really a shame because there is a very big potential.
