Fun place, cheap beer. Definitely worth a visit. It usually had English speaking staff, that was strange, initially because I spoke (bad French) to an English barman who could not really speak French that was good for him to try though.

Our first visit was excellent. We returned some evenings later for the Happy Hour Deal: Pizza and pitcher of beer for 20 euros. The waitress made excuses that they didn't deliver enough pizza, but was pleased to overload us on the same pizza and beer combination. All five of us went out. What a double! AVOID

Its not bad..I have to say that 's all it is. Not bad. I choose my places from Google reviews and let me tell you right now this place doesn 't deserve the 4.4 it has now. It is not comparable to the la cabane des neiges or chic maman which have been rated similar. My biggest qualm is that it is quite noticeable that the staff are all British and clearly on short term temporary contracts where they 're doing this job for the rest of the ski season. This isn 't particularly bad but the lack of their genuine care is noticeable. Again. It 's not bad. I 'm just picking at bones here , but for example we ordered the XL nachos to share. The nachos were good. But there were four of us sharing. Your have hoped they would bring us small plates to avoid mess. But no. And when the mess did inevitably occur we had to wait a whilst and remind them clear the table before our next course. Again this isn 't that bad but not that great either. Service was about slow but very friendly. The food. Was decent. Nothing to write home about in all honesty. The burgers were standard. The pizza was alright. The nachos were pretty good. I 'd rate the service 4/5 and the food 3/5 I would have given a 3.5 but there isn 't an option for this and like I said. My scores are all relative to surrounding competition. No resteraunts is perfect and you can 't fault people for little inevitabilities.
