After a nearly 4-hour journey, we were ready for lunch. I was relieved to find Ramya at the reception when I inquired about seating for our group. She kindly welcomed us in and managed to accommodate us despite having prior bookings. We were seated together and even allowed to bring a mobility scooter inside. The view of the crashing waves was stunning and the ambiance was inviting. Our orders were taken promptly and our food was served quickly and accurately. Ramya made sure to check on us frequently to ensure we were well taken care of. Not only was she efficient but also friendly and understanding. The salad was fresh and delicious, our meals were satisfying, and some members of our group were happy to order from the kids menu. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the entire dining experience.
A group of 11 of us showed up at the restaurant on a Friday afternoon without a reservation and were able to enjoy a fantastic lunch together. Some of our group members were visually impaired or had physical disabilities, but we were warmly welcomed and accommodated quickly, including a member on a mobility scooter. The food was amazing and offered great value for the price. Everyone was able to order what they wanted, including options from the children's menu for those with smaller appetites. Our server, Ramya, took excellent care of us. She got all of our orders right and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her friendliness and attentiveness were greatly appreciated. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with both the food and the service. It made us feel like royalty.
My husband and I dined at this restaurant twice last week. Shaun and Imogen, our servers, were both excellent and very pleasant.
This place is in a nice location overlooking the sea. I went for dinner with my wife; we sat outside to enjoy the warm evening. We got drinks at the bar and ordered meals, all of which were of the expected standard. Service was prompt and friendly. However a small group of local lads also sitting outside and clearly 'in drink ', were swearing loudly and aggressively at each other the whole time. It eventually descended to 'OK let 's take this on to the beach ', where they seemed to intend fighting with each other, but were barely capable of standing at this point so nobody would really have come to any harm!! It 's a shame that people like this can 't respect those around them. OK, this is 'their ' town and we 're just tourists, but we bring income to the area (not just this pub) and now are less than likely to return again, when our and other diners ' enjoyment of a quiet meal in nice surroundings was disrupted by the loud disgraceful language and behaviour of a few individuals who were oblivious to the effect they had on others.
Called into the Harvester at Boscombe beach with my wife for a meal, we were served by Cassia a very friendly helpful young lady, the meal and drinks were fine. We would have no problem going back for another meal.
