Contribuisci feedbackThis restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is exceptional and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure every customer has a great experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of my visits to London.
We received a warm welcome on a chilly evening, and enjoyed the pleasant background music. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. It would be great to see a few more vegetarian and fish options on the menu. The prices were very reasonable and the food was served hot on hot plates.
Fantastic breakfast and coffees, with a Mediterranean twist. And really lovely owners, who were attentive and ever smiley. Would definitely recommend...as long as we can still get in next time :
Highly recommended! I've visted with freinds for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Differant days over the last months, so thougt now I'd leave my reveiw. Food is always top notch, freash, pipping hot full of taste. They are very accomadating. I asked for a boiled egg, instead of freid, due to less calories. I was served a perfect soft boiled. I asked for spice, on my spicy pizza not a problem. An amazing pizza was made.!!! Staff are wonderful and freindly. Again, nothing is too much trouble. Chef is happy to come and introduce himself and chat when possible. Highly, highly recomened. If you make one visit to a restrant this year, make it Sal e pepe. Thank you Chef and your team. Sarah.
I gave this restaurant 4 stars because I was grateful to get a table here when everywhere else was booked up this weekend. The service was friendly and attentive, and the table had nice clean linen. For starters, we had bruschetta with mushrooms, which were both okay. The Cafe de Paris steak for mains could have been better, as it was cooked well done even though we ordered it medium rare. It also lacked vegetables, and instead came with potato wedges that looked like they were from McCain. The laminated menu had some surprises, such as a tzatziki starter and a chicken tikka pizza.
