I absolutely loved it! My favorite dish was the truffle tuna tower. It's a must-try! The plum wine was also delicious and not diluted by ice like other places. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant had a clean and fresh atmosphere. We will definitely return.
We tried prawns with a crunchy coating and tangy sriracha mayo sauce, which were tasty. We also had a Tiger roll, which was average and a typical maki roll. The spring rolls were crunchy on the outside and vegetable-filled inside, Mr P. liked them and thought kids would enjoy them on sticks. Overall, this sushi train offers some unique choices and Mr P. believes the quality is above average with fresh and innovative options. The decor is nice with bright, light atmosphere and a takeaway bar at the front. You can grab a quick bite or relax in a booth. The place seems trendy with half a dozen young people enjoying their meal.
We were seated at a booth table next to the floor to ceiling window which also provided us with a pretty good view of the sushi train. Although, Sushi Nori isn’t your average sushi train. For a start, natural light floods the eatery of which the fresh, contemporary decor is absolutely beautiful shiny blue and white fishtail tiles make up the feature wall where chefs stand in front and skillfully slice up fish for sashimi, brass and natural wood finishes make the space feel sleek yet inviting. The lunch menu is somewhat simple yet it still provides a good variety with very reasonable prices.
I'm shocked the rating for this place isn't higher. Have walked past multiple times and been tempted to try it, but today for the first day I actually did and won't regret it. Only had the sushi rolls to go, but they were the best I've had in Brisbane. Great quality fillings that were really flavourful and a perfect ratio of rice to filling too (unlike many places which go ott with the cheap rice).<br/ <br/ Basically, this is now my go-to place for sushi in Brisbane now, and I wanted to share the love.
