This is a great spot to watch the boats rock under the changing colors during sunset. The bar and restaurant are run separate, so quite different levels of service are provided. But nothing to worry about, one is super friendly and over casual (bar team) the other is super friendly and very professional (restaurant). The seafood range on offer is incredibly fresh and worth trying, even if you're not a fan. Save room for desert too!
Walked to this restaurant while waiting for our car to be serviced. Quite a long way in muggy bowen weather. Arrived early for opening but welcomed with a bottle of cold water and asked if we would mind waiting while they completed their chores before opening. Who could mind waiting with such a lovely outlook. Coffee was great and the muffin even better. When the staff member was chatting to us she realized where we were walking to return to our car she immediately offered to drive us back. We refused as she was getting ready for the lunch trade but we really appreciated the offer. We certainly remember her kindness.
Great place to stop for lunch with your mates the staff are friendly and the food is well above average and the prices are good too.
We walked in on friday Lunchtime with no bookingthe Friendly waitress gave us menus and said pick a tablewe did with a view looking out over the Harbour Entrance. This is an old yacht club so dont expect well heeled club surrounds and service, just good old fashioned country service. There was inside and outside dining it was quiet with several tables occupied And no Booming annoying Music or Tvs blaring we though Thats a Plus. We ordered from the varied menu .breakfast /Lunch /Dinner... i picked Red Throat Emperor with chips and salad with aioli. also Roast Pumpkin chicken salad spinach, fetta, avo, and Grilled Chicken with balsamic dressing. We got drinks from the small bar, sat down and watched a Prawn Trawler slowly leaving the inner harbour with a sunny/ cloudy day and light winds, what a pleasant sight while waiting for your lunch. The restaurant was clean and tidy with nautical nick nacks hanging around the place it felt homely. The meals came on a plate and bowl you could park a Mack Truck on The Red Throat Emporer was Delicious same for the string fries and mixed salad, The Pumpkin and chicken salad with many ingredients was also Delicious. Except for the Over Cooked Dry Chicken.... we were left alone while eating without the usual 4 times how are your meals, This is a great Marina and Bay view Restaurant its well worth a visit.
