The Cakery - Bowie

Been here several times so far and been impressed with every item I've had so far! Such a treat and doesn't break the bank!

If u see the coconut cookie. Get it. There is nothing else in any other store that comes close. The chocolate chip was excellent and I love the giant size. Cheesecake was good. The strawberry in top still had just the right amount of texture and it was appropriately served cold but no signs of frost. I loved it. It's safe to return. Used to be a student of bowie state nearby. It was a horrible place 5 years ago or so. But I read comments on new management and confirmed the ladies here know what they doing. Items are huge in person. Camera doesn't do it justice.

Every Saturday morning, I have a little ritual where I stop by The Cakery to pick up some croissants, cookies, and macaroons. Everything is always delicious!

This is undoubtedly one of the best bakeries I have ever visited. Freddy genuinely cares for his customers; you can tell he is deeply dedicated and invests a lot of time into his baking and pastries. The Spinach Croissant is absolutely delicious and is one of my personal favorites. We also ordered a large batch of 20 homemade fruit planets for the grand opening of our new health center next to his shop, and they turned out to be the most popular item at our event. They were all made from scratch and ready in less than 20 hours. This really helped alleviate some of the stress of preparing for our customers. We are very grateful for his support!
