Aroma Deli/cafe - Bowler

The room, bathroom, and linens were very clean and check-in was simple. Comfortable bed. Excellent value. The little things I noticed: A detached hairdryer. I hate the ones that are attached to the wall. I could use this one in any outlet. Real hangers instead of hangers with posts. So much easier for hanging up clothes. Nice toiletries, including a lovely soap called sweet grass . It isn 't really made of sweet grass. But the mint smell is invigorating and it suds up beautifully. I bought some in the handy shop on the first floor.

Was very disappointed that I had to pay an additional $20 to have a refrigerator and microwave added to our room. The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom and only one light in the bathroom worked so it was very hard to use the mirror for getting ready in the morning. King size bed only had 3 pillows on it for two people. Not understanding why they wouldn't supply 4 pillows for a king size bed. Due to these issues, I will not be returning to their resort to stay overnight nor will I recommend them to my family or friends.

Such a scary, and frustrating experience. Checked in, went to our room, opened the door, and there were people in our assigned room. We could have walked into a really bad situation. Scary...Went back down and we were given a new room. Walk in, we reserved a room with a king bed, the bed was just slightly larger than a double bed. went back to the desk and told the lady, we paid for a king room, and that's not a king bed. She said we only have two types of rooms a king, or 2 doubles. she went on to explain that it's called a king room but doesn't mean it's a king bed. Oh, and if you want a refrigerator and microwave, plan on paying $20 more. What bothers me most, is that this is a casino hotel making money hand over fist, and they rip people off without blinking an eye.

Just got home, , from Northstar Casino! did an over-nite in a free suite! The casino was not crowded at all, , very clean, The food was Ok, Slots were fun! I won 2 jackpots last month, 12, 998.67 then 15 mins later hit another one for 1857.59 that's over 15.000 in 15 mins, It's in Bowler Wisconsin! No smoking casino! They are open 24 hours! Give them a try !! Stay away from Wittenburg!

We love Northstar. Staff are great! Very clean. My mom who is 80 can get around really easy. Has a excellent layout. Hotel right next to casino. My favorite place to go for a fun trip.plus beautiful scenery.
