Cambridge Market & Cafe - Bowling Green

Our first visit to the Cambridge Market Cafe and was very happy! Clean, spacious dining area, was a cozy atmosphere with many windows to sit and enjoy the autumn sunshine. Menu has a wide selection of sandwiches and entrées, and we ended up with the Cajun Chicken Pasta and the Roast Beef Manhattan. Both dishes came from order hot and fresh in about 5-10 minutes and were delicious. The Cajun Pasta was simply spicy enough, seasoned with green peppers, red chilli, and grilled chicken in an Alfredo sauce and full of taste. The Manhattan has smoked Bratbeef openly covered in a sourdough bunker with potato and gravity. Delicious for the last bite!

Great restaurant in style. Fantastic sandwiches, daily meat and threesomes and desserts.

Original Cambridge Market gives a decent meal! You can rebuild, but you can still sit for a meal if you want. The menu varies depending on day or delivery and they serve hot sandwiches and a few cold. My favorite is and always will be the cold chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It is creamy, has bursts of sweet with the grapes, and is complete with walnuts. So it is only worthwhile for that, even if the restaurant presentation is fundamental from all accounts.

Food was good, but the thermostat was set to winter! Temperature inside was uncomfortable cold!! (Campbell Ln location). Food cooled much to fast.
