We enjoyed lunch at this diner while traveling in the area, server was very attentive. Food was good, reasonable prices, very clean, cold ice tea. Will return if and when in the area.
We were passing through this town looking for quick bite to eat for dinner. Man am I glad we stopped! They have a huge menu and you can get breakfast lunch or dinner all day! My boys had the hamburger which was enormous. My son wanted a 2nd one and they were 1/2 lb. Lol I had the country breakfast and the pan fried potatoes were the ?! My husband got the chicken tenders and we all tried them and then wanted more. They were hand breaded and soo good. Cheap prices, super friendly staff and made from scratch goodness.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and generously portioned. I recently moved to the area and have dined here twice, both times leaving full with enough leftovers for a second meal. My only critique is that one of the servers could be a bit friendlier as she seemed a bit cold and distant during both of my visits.
I frequently travel throughout Missouri for work and enjoy stopping at local diners for a quick bite to eat when I have some spare time. Unfortunately, this particular diner was the only one open in town and I cannot provide a rating for their food as I was not actually served. Upon entering (the door had a bell), I noticed a sign instructing guests to seat themselves, so I found a table. However, after sitting for 10 minutes without any acknowledgment from the server (who appeared to be busy on her phone), I decided to leave. Despite being just 10 feet away from her, she did not acknowledge me or offer any assistance. It was only when I got up to leave and the front door took a while to close that she finally got up from her seat. Overall, my experience in Bowling Green was not very welcoming to out-of-towners.
