The Cookie Store - Bowling Green

Mall cookie stores have been around forever and have been a staple of shopping visits. This one is standard fare but given all of the gourmet cookie shops and bakeries that have popped up recently, it makes this store full short of the high bar set. They do have some exotic combination cookies but they are not very soft or warm. Staff was not energetic but got the job accomplished. Overall it was ok.

Went for a drink while in the Greenwood Mall saw a deal for 6 small cookies and a small soda $4.99 They weren 't busy, so I ordered that and told her, give me one of each and a Diet Coke. I know I know Diet Soda and 6 small cookies! Anyway she just stared at me so I said it again she wouldn 't get me cookies until I said I 'll take 2 chocolate chip, 2 peanut butter etc. then my hubby walked up and wanted a drink too a regular coke. The other girl said I 'll get it then brought both over. I asked which one is diet? They shrugged their shoulders ohhh and did I say the cookies were stale? Except for the chocolate chip?? 1 star!!!

I ordered a cookie and the girl at the counter was… unenthusiastic to say the least. Fine, she’s young BUT, I sat down to enjoy my dessert and she get on her phone. She didn’t change her gloves before or after I ordered. And then she starts eating a cookie. So the germs from her phone, mouth, whatever else she touched was likely ALL over my stuff. I tried to get a photo but she immediately sat it down. Disgusting. I threw mine away. $6 for a cookie, I think we all expect clean gloves.To management- I tried to find a phone number or contact info on your website, and couldn’t find anything other than the store number.

Sugar Rush is the best way to describe this place. We don 't visit the mall very often, but when we do we always stop by The Cookie Store for a sweet treat. While they aren 't the best cookies I 've ever had, it 's become a tradition for our family. They have a wide variety of decorated treats to choose from including yummy brownies. They also usually have discounted day old bagged treats you can buy. They have random goodies in them that are a little less than fresh but still yummy. I know this place will be at the top end of the list of places to visit when this quarantine ends.

Love everything about this place. Cookies are delicious and the employees are so friendly. Helen Wisdom was the lady they waited on us and she was a friendly young lady.
