Stayed over for a wedding this weekend, great venue, great food, great staff, great time, highly recommended, thanks guys

The historic building has a charming character, with its lovely front and rear gardens that were a delight to wander through. The combination of mature plantings and newer additions reflects a property that has been cherished for many years and seeks rejuvenation. The lounge and bar areas were inviting and cozy, offering access to the terrace and dining room. While Wi-Fi was available, it was limited to the lounge and bar. Our room was very comfortable and spotless, though it lacked the refinement that a high-end inn might offer. However, this was not a concern for us; the room featured a stunning picture window with breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake. Every detail in the room was well thought out, and the staff were more than willing to assist with any special requests. We would definitely return, and we still dream of the delicious dinners we enjoyed, which never failed to impress.

My wife and I returned as guests of the management, and we had an amazing experience. The staff was very attentive, and the lunch was of excellent quality. The dining area was beautiful, and I must say it’s the best place to stay in the area. Breakfast was also well-presented and of high quality.

The meal was exceptional, paired perfectly with the wine. I even got the exact table I had requested based on the pictures on their website. To our delight, they had another surprise in store for us: a special dessert plate featuring earthy chocolates and other delicious treats, with "Happy Anniversary" written in white chocolate. It truly made our evening special, and we’re so grateful for the effort everyone put in to celebrate with us. Thank you to everyone who made our night unforgettable. Best, Nick & Cathy

Only for a three-day stay. we were in a very comfortable ground floor room with terrace doors that led three stages to a table, chairs and garden. view of the windermeresee. idyllic, quiet location with beautiful gardens and vogelsong. beautiful hotel, good food and extremely helpful staff.
