Lu Yang Dumpling House - Box Hill

This restaurant has become our favorite spot for tasty dumplings in the area. We appreciate the variety of steamed dumplings available here, as most places only offer boiled and fried options. We also enjoyed their wonton and Shanghai-style noodles. The owners are incredibly polite and friendly, truly humble individuals. We highly recommend this place!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is fantastic and it's incredibly affordable. My partner and I always choose to dine here and even drive 40 minutes just to eat here. I highly recommend trying the satay beef on rice.

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since my university days. The dumplings and rice cakes are especially delicious and always a hit with my group when we dine here. The prices are very reasonable for the generous serving sizes. The other dishes on the menu are also fantastic! Thanks to the Luyang team for always providing great food and service.

So many restaurants around that area, so many dumplings. Broke my heart to leave DC dumpling house but I had to give it a go. BANG. Pretty happy with this place. Ordered spring onion pancake... nice without being amazing. Good crunch. XLB... flavoursome but many of them had split. Pork and prawn dumplings... delicious. Amazing. Add superfluous word here. Definitely would head back for the glory of the pork and prawn. Get there

We go here every couple of weeks. Never disappoints with taste or flavour. It isn’t the nicest looking restaurant but the service and food make up for it!
