He indicated he knew what he was doing when I asked when we would be seated after waiting over 30 minutes and seeing 2 parties get seated before ours, we had six the other parties had 4 each, he basicallyrefused to serve our party to maximize 2 extra seats! The food is average but due to the location it stands out( in FT Worth itwould probably not survive). The prices are high for a location with a vibe of a diner. On a positive note, it?s BYOB.
Near perfection. We had a large party of 12 and were seated and served with excellence. Granted, it was a Thursday night but the level of service merits commendation on any day. Food was great and desserts made in-house were a huge hit. Had the Cole Slawbeen seasoned better, 5 stars would have been a certainty.
The best Cajun food farthest away. Each dish is taste packed and spot-on for authenticity. This place deserves a Michelin star. The desserts alone are phenomenal.
Go Go Gumbo is one of our favorite Metroplex restaurants. Every entree is out of this world good. Their servers are so good too. As much as we miss eating inside and as much as some people might disagree with their pandemic curbside delivery only service, we admire them for trying to make it safe for us as well as for their employees.
This quaint little restaurant is located in a storefront in Boyd, TX. There’s ample street parking as well as additional spaces nearby. The place is tidy, although it shows signs of frequent use. The bathrooms are clean but quite small, so keep that in mind. Expect a wait on busy evenings! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our dining experience. While the menu is somewhat limited, the offerings are quite impressive. The food was absolutely fantastic! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the Alfredo sauce was excellent. The Redfish Pontchartrain and crab-stuffed shrimp were also standout dishes. While the prices are on the higher side for a small Texas town, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant—it’s definitely worth a visit!
