Local family owners sandwich shop that has been in business since 1951. Delicious food, large portions and good prices. One of Boyertown's local treasures!
Talarico's is a great sandwich shop. Their cheese steaks are amazing. On Fridays they serve tuna salad, my wife says it is the best, better than her own. They take a lot of pride in their product, and you can taste it in every bite. Sandwiches are filled past the brim. Thanks for all your hard work!
Make sure to try the homemade carrot cakes! If you're looking for a reason to visit Boyertown, make your way to Talarico Sandwich Shop. The soft rolls they serve—according to Kyle, the fourth-generation owner—are a nod to Amish traditions. I'm planning to check out the Farmers Market next week, but in the meantime, I’m a big fan of soft rolls because they’re not only tender but also hold up well under plenty of sauce. I had my cheesesteak topped with the Talarico special sauce, a flavorful red sauce that really hit the spot. Carole ordered the pepper ham sandwich, which was fantastic; Kyle even shares its origin in a video on my YouTube channel, Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure. You'll find videos featuring all 270 types of cheese I've tried there as well. And I can't forget to mention the homemade carrot cake—it was absolutely delicious! By the way, we spent $23 for two amazing sandwiches, two small bags of chips, one 24oz Kutztown soda, and a large slice of carrot cake.
Without a doubt, this is the best sandwich you can find! Everything is incredibly fresh, and the portions are huge!
