Darry's Food-n-drink - Boyle

The food was overpriced and not particularly impressive. It seems like they're trying to cover the costs of their expensive building by offering mediocre dishes at steep prices.

The food took over 45 minutes to arrive at our table. We also ordered dessert, which took an additional 45 to 50 minutes. It's worth noting that the restaurant had only about 4 or 5 tables occupied, so the wait time was quite slow, especially for a Friday night. The fried cheesecake was mushy, and the bread pudding was served with the wrong sauce. Service: Dine in, Meal type: Dinner.

I had lunch there, and the food was just average. However, I returned for dinner and ordered the crab claws, which were excellent. I decided to try the hamburger steak with gravy and requested onions on the side. After a 40-minute wait, my dish arrived completely drenched in gravy and barely had any onions. The taste reminded me of a classic TV dinner—specifically, Swanson Salisbury steak—it was disappointing and full of gristle. To add to the frustration, my dinner companion received their meal 15 minutes before mine. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the service or the food.

When I visited, I placed a to-go order for three BBQ sandwiches with chips over the phone. They promptly called back to let me know they were preparing my order. Once I arrived, I paid and waited a few minutes at a table for my meal to be ready. The staff was quick, friendly, and very professional. The BBQ sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and the coleslaw I ordered on the side, along with the BBQ sauce, was equally tasty. Their menu offers a variety of options, including desserts, burgers, po'boys, seafood, salads, gumbos, appetizers, soups, kids' meals, and even beer. Some of the sides available include French fries, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, wild rice, green beans, and coleslaw. I definitely plan to return soon and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I'm looking forward to bringing my entire family next time, and we’ll dine in together!

The service was awful. My friends and I waited for two hours after placing our order, and they hadn't even started cooking our food. They claimed they were busy, but there were only two other tables occupied besides ours.
