Whi Ski Inn - Boyne Falls

Our first experience at Whi Ski Inn was delightful! This cozy local spot offers delicious barbecue and a friendly ambiance. Thank you for the excellent service - we'll definitely be returning whenever we're in the area.

After hearing recommendations from our neighbors, we decided to try the wings at this restaurant. They lived up to the hype! I ordered the bourbon BBQ flavor and my wife got the hot wings. Both were delicious, and the smoky flavor of the wings really stood out.

My family visits this restaurant a few times a year since we have family in the area. The drink selection is always good, and the smoked chicken wings are delicious. Usually, the service is decent, but during our last visit, the male bartender/server was unfriendly towards our group. We waited for a table as instructed by the sign, and decided to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. However, we were told we couldn't sit at the bar or order drinks since we were waiting for a table, despite there being an open seat. The situation didn't make sense. When a table opened up, we waited for it to be cleaned, but after some time passed with no action, we took matters into our own hands and claimed the table. Suddenly, the same male bartender told us to go back and wait by the sign in the front until the table was cleaned. After a few more minutes, we were about to leave and find another place to go. Eventually, a female server cleaned the table for us and provided excellent service. It's unclear if the male bartender was just having a bad night, but his unfriendliness was noticeable. Despite the staffing issues, treating customers in a friendly manner is essential. We enjoy the up north vibe and the good food at this restaurant as regulars, but please ensure all customers are treated with respect and kindness.

Everything about this place was great! The food was very good (we had smoked wings and smoked chicken nachos) and the atmosphere and service were great too. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and time it takes to prepare smokedmeats. Definitely going back for brisket!

Bar style BBQ joint. Ribs pulled pork pulled chicken were good not great. Sides were pretty tasty. We had mac 'n cheese, cucumbers onions, fries, hushpuppies sweet potato fries. All good. We also had sweet corn fritters from the appetizermenu. Those were tasty, too. We were there Friday night a live musician was just getting started, but we didn 't stay forthat .
