Armed at 530 or so last night. I threw my group out and even if in a driven wheelchair needed help to drive up the disabled ramp. So steep and I'm not sure ADA-compliant.(This is landlord responsibility) Enter the restaurant with loud music and a crowded lounge with 2 large groups that occupy most. I found an open couch and tried to sit it. While we are able to find some space, the table was not helpful for the person in our group to eat. It was too low and prevented access. Ask the manager about possibly at a regular table near the lounge and was rejected. I wanted to go. The person in the wheelchair did not want to make a scene so that we came past a happy hour and sat at a regular table. Felt very dismissed. It was forced to order the same apps for the double price. While the food was good, we won't go back. Do not support a local location that does not support all its customers.
The ambience was beautiful and intimate, some of the music was directly from Godfather and added the vibe. Our server Dominick (sp? was attentive and helpful, he was courteous when one of our guests asked to change the order. We started with drinks and the Italian Mule was deliciously light with spiced vodka and pineapple juice in addition to the ginger beer. There was a little sweetheart that wasn't excessive. The Calamari with Jalapeños and the damped shells were delicious and tasteful. The angel hair bolognese and the filled mushrooms were ok. I had the roasted fig pizza and it's too much for a person, great for exchange. Portions for most of the dishes were plentiful and in my opinion could be divided family style to try a number of different dishes. Me? We didn't try the special cheesecake or any desserts, although Dominick told us about this salted caramel cheesecake that sounded amazing. We'll leave room at the next dessert.
We had such a great experience for my father's birthday! Food and service were incredible. I have the baby-Arugula salad with truffle oil and grilled salmon. The salmon was like butter and the truffle was perfect. My father's on Sunday Gravy. I can't wait to go back!
Okay, so we have read a number of internet research and review. Nice waitress, a real pleasure. The son of the owner/son duo (both owner). could be a touch on the warmer side, but he was nice enough, I'm going to distract it. It is important that food is unusually good and the service is great. Out of the way, but I say the trip. Very expensive and only one touch on the higher side of the average, but you get what you pay.
Had a wonderful time at baciami. It was fabulous from the time I walked in and was greeted by Steve to being served by Stormi and Matthew. I highly recommend coming here. They have a wonderful happy hour with a wide selection of drinks and food. We had the stone crab and they were fresh and delicious. If you want great food and service this is the place to go.
