At first, I thought the prices seemed a little high, but I support their mission of trying to use locally sourced products whenever possible, and I realize there is often a premium for that. The plates, however, were huge, but the food was just okay across the board. Nothing especially good, nothing especially bad. The hashbrowns were dry and under-seasoned; the toast was so dry it hurt your mouth. The plates were so big we couldn’t finish them. So if you want a big plate of mediocre food, this is the spot. Something else that rubbed me the wrong way was the push to tip on the CC machine. Don’t get me wrong, I am generally a fairly generous tipper, but what service am I tipping for when I order at the counter and bust my own table? Ostensibly, I am getting the same level of service I would have gotten from going across the street to the Mcdonalds.
Went in today and had a Pastrami Sandwich which was delicious but it was literally like 50 cents worth of meat. I think there was a total of two pieces of pastrami on it.
Love this place, seating is a little slim but we usually can get a spot by the time our yummy food is ready. Our regular go to for a lite breakfast.
The food is yummy! It's a counter service restaurant and not a huge space. But absolutely worth the time and struggle to find a spot!
Good breakfast. I had the Classic. Eggs done as requested, excellent bacon, and the potatoes were perfect.
