This menu option was under the ?Entree? options which stated that every dish came with a choice of salad, fries, or seasonal vegetables as a side. At the end of my meal I was then informed that the tacos did not come with a side and was charged $4.50 for the salad. This was not stated on the menu, nor was it stated to me by the wait staff when myself and another dining companion ordered this dish. This means that I was charged $16 for brisket tacos that amounted to one thin slice of brisket per tortilla (3 in total) with some mediocre chopped up red cabbage as filler. The tortillas were so soggy that they fell apart the minute I picked them up. So $16 plus the $4.50 for the spring mix and shaved carrots they call a house salad. I use to say that Nordic was overpriced, but the food was good. Now, I have nothing positive to say. I would rather pay the heightened prices for a meal downtown. At least there the food remains somewhat worth the price and I can enjoy the benefits of being downtown when I am done eating.
Would not get the salmon again (total raw and cold for the first time, oversalted the second time and a little expensive? but unlike this really delicious (pizza was delicious! and big vibes
Truly one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The atmosphere, service, and food quality were all exceptional. I will go out of my way to eat here again!
This was a nice place for lunch. First off it is a brewery and this has a good selection of local beers. We have some wings for appetizers and they were good but needed salt. The lunch food was great with the beef stew and Cajun chicken being our favorites. Service was a little slow but that is usual in post Covid times. We would visit again
I only tried the pizza and one of their signature cocktails, the Elderstahl. The pizza was amazing, crisp and cheesy, the cocktail was amazing! The mezcal has wonderful oak notes and was pleasantly smokey, paired with a bright lilet blanc, mixed with citrus, orange and grapefruit. It wasn't too sweet, but not bitter either. It was balanced nicely. The service was stellar, everyone was very friendly and accommodating and awesome!!!
