I ordered a cappuccino and ended up going back for another; I was completely hooked. The place is very cozy and offers plenty of seating, with large tables, small ones, and even couches. Additionally, there’s an impressive collection of art to admire! I regret not taking any pictures to share.
Amazing local coffee! I absolutely love the Black Bear dark roast.
The atmosphere is amazing, definitely a perfect score of 10/10. However, the coffee was just average, priced at $8 for a 20oz latte with regular milk. I'm surprised they can hold their own in this competitive area. The staff was delightful and didn't have the pretentious attitude I sometimes encounter at other nearby places. Also, the biscotti I tried was fantastic!
It's been several years since Alton Brown (celebrity chef, he did Good Eats and Cutthroat Kitchen and some other TV) turned me on to the cortado. And it's my go to drink when I hit up a coffee shop. It's unusual to find one on the menu and even more unusual to find a barista who knows what it is. So when I asked for a cortado this morning before sunrise at Wild Joe's, the barista smiled. Here's his challenge for the day. Dude made a PERFECT cortado. If I could six stars this magic dude I would. Instead, I have five stars and I also complimented him on his EPIC moustache. I was here with my laptop in the back for four or so hours. It's a great spot for working and the cortado was amazing. I love this place and would go out of my way to return.
Nice layout, friendly staff. I definitely will return.
