I was told that much of the time had been sold I had arrived and that the selection of food was not great, but in my opinion I was thrilled and so happy to see so many vegan gluten-free options! Honestly, if I see more than a vegan option, I want to scream! I was told most of the foods were sold by volume or weight, so can not comment the food prices, but scored the last box of GF Sesame noodles with veg and garlic for $5, which was delicious and dedicated in no time and thought the cranberry orange GF scene were decent size and stealing at $2.50 a piece! I need a coffee tomorrow. I asked about the GF vegan cheese and veg pizza, which was at $6.95 decent size and good price. What I saw made me realize that next time I came out for a few days to visit and cool in Bracebridge, I will not eat from home to prepare for the air bnb, but just most of my meals here! By the way, I saw no tuna and only vegan and vegetarian options. Updated by previous rating on 2022-09-03
This restaurant is decent with good vegan options like the Mac and Cheese, breakfast burrito, and soups. The food can sometimes be fresher and prices are a bit high. They have a decent selection of salads, but could benefit from adding new ideas more often. It's a shame that the tabbouleh isn't vegan. The baked goods are okay. It's strange that they sell tuna at a vegetarian deli, but overall I'm happy this place exists and I occasionally grab a bite while shopping. The store has a great selection of vegan foods.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times, both in its old location and its new one. The menu is supposed to be all vegetarian with vegan options, but we have seen tuna on it before. I always hope to try dishes like lasagna, mac n cheese, or tofu, but the food always disappoints. The desserts are slightly better. It's a convenient option when there isn't much else around, but I am surprised that anyone would actually enjoy the food here.
The look and smell of the food was awesome. I had the vegan breakfast burrito with refried beans, scrambled tofu and daiya cheese. It was amazing, loved it. Great store and outside seating area. Turmeric latte was delicious too.
I absolutely love this deli! They offer a wide variety of vegan options and also have a health store attached that sells specialty grocery items, many of which are vegan and eco-friendly. I have visited this deli twice now and can confirm that their vegan chocolate brownie and vegan Mac n cheese are both delicious.
