I had. the bark in red wine sauce, which was delicious. eating is local dishes and meaty (no seafood) and really delicious with cold meat, cheese, pizza and ice cream in the offer. the children were happy (a big question,) so we were. very recommended place in a beautiful location at the city square. service was also friendly. we sat with the a/c on a steaming day in summer.
With the bike tour on the loire to lunch. bistro in charming french square next to the traditional medieval church served us delicious food and drinks for a few perfect hours. platz was packed on a Friday lunch, we opened there exactly the way. around 12)
We didn't book, but we sat inside. the a/c! the personal was very friendly and spoke well English. the meal was brilliant, what a great change, as we found out, eating in frankly very expensive. there was something for everyone, even the restless children! we have chosen for the buffet whu h with cold meat, cheese and salads, pizza and cooked meat, chips and vegetables, a selection of deserts and then ice! the children couldn't believe they could have as much as they wanted, and then the evening just got better. the singer who appeared on the front terrace began with karaoke, with the local danced on the street, and we received free champagne for the birthday we celebrated. in any case a place that is worth driving when they are in the opposite.
Seven of us arrived without a booking on Monday at 2 o'clock and we were received. it was a celebration, however, so they might not have accepted us at that time when it was a normal weekday. We had the buffet and wein, cost...and each about $a30. there were so many choices 16 choices of meat dishes for the main course alone! entree, cheese, main course and sweetness: if they were vegetarian, there were vegetarian dishes, but most of them was very meat concentrated. the personal was friendly and gracious and even offers a photo of us during a very busy time. it was not cold, but there were puppies that would make it cozy and warm when it was.
Went there one evening because everything else was closed. I was prepared to endure after having read some of the reviews, but the culinary torments exceeded my wildest expectations. Staff is on the ok side, nothing to complain, but the food is atrocious. There may...be some cooked meat to choose from, but pizzas are made from leftovers, found a piece of beef steak and sausage (or chicken? in a pizza that was supposed to be salami, yuck. Starters buffet was pasta salad and rice salad with a puddle of water at the bottom of the bowl, plus some veggies and some things I cannot remember now because my brain is probably trying to protect me by erasing bad memories. Dessert buffet was a little better, in the sense that there was fruit and cheese besides confectionery that looked too artificial for my taste. Everything topped up by the chaotic layout of the different dishes on the counter, with spoons that had visited many a bowl just laying around. Allez, messieurs-dames, faites un efort pour l'ordre et la proprete si vous ne pouvez pas le faire pour la nourriture car ca ferait monter le prix ;
