Akaichi Yakiniku

I wouldn't recommend this place. From the moment we enter to the restaurant, No menu at the front to have a look, staff seems like don’t want to be there. Worst wagyu I have ever tried. The oyster and sashimi platter is not fresh at all. Overpriced! When we walked out to pay, the staff was on their phone , didn't even notice we were at the till. No wonder only have 2 tables of customers for the whole night. Service: Dine in

The food was totally over priced, we ordered the tower combo of wagyu and barely enough for 2 people let alone 5, that was $148. The waitress and waiter were both totally uninterested in assisting us and the restaurant was very empty. There were no sides with the wagyu tower and we had to order more sides including Kimchi, which at every other korean bbq is included. Would definitely never go again ! $217 and we weren't even full. Absolute joke!

Good food. We had ramen, BBQ, Takoyaki. All the BBQ AND Takoyaki came out reasonably swiftly but we had to keep asking the waiter and waitress when the ramen was coming, we eventually all had to watch one person eating their noodles as we had all finished a while before we also asked twice for water that never came. Way overpriced for the portions on offer. Apart from the wagyu ribs which were good, all the other meat was not fresh and portions were a joke. That includes the yakiniku meat and sashimi platter which had only low grade salmon and hamachi. Also, credit card surcharges are a fact of life nowadays but 2% is greedy when most places are pushing 1.5%. So unless you 're prepared to have just wagyu rib and rice, I can 't recommend this place and can 't agree with the many other high rated reviews.
