All food was well seasoned, beautiful flavours and epic portions. Excellent Greek food overall. The goddess fries were more... chips than fries though. Pita was delicious.<br/ <br/ So you 're probably wondering, why 3.5 rating?<br/ I have to take half a point off for just how LOUD it was, there were other functions happening and I could barely hear the person next to me, had to shout. And another point for the seafood, although it looked incredible it was quite awful and I spat most of it out. All of the seafood had quite a strong 'fishy ' taste and were chewy, so ultimately not fresh and over cooked. There was some kind of peppery fish patty on the platter that I recommend avoiding the flavour was nightmarish ... the lemon potato mash accompanying it though was AMAZING. Some of the food could of been warmed a little more before serving.<br/ <br/ Overall I recommend except for the seafood, which is a shame because Portside has access to many excellent seafood vendors close by.
Last minute decision to have dinner here and turned out to be a great choice. The service was fantastic and the aptmosphere was just right for nice intimate dinner , though with the bar section on the otherside you do get a some random screams and shouts. The food was perfect for sharing , the 12hr slow cooked beef ribs was one of our favourites. It had a little kick to it and also a slight sweetness and went well witht he roast sweet corn. The godess fries was a nice large portion and the crumbed feta and soft herbs gave it a nice flavour and texture. I would say the flaky pastry with spinach did seem slightly over cooked, really the only dish we felt a little dissapointed. The dark chocolate tarte made us forget quickly about that. Fanatastic presentation and a great way to end the meal. Came here for dinner again and was very impressed with the food and service again. Both mains, the lamb crispy duck where perfectly cooked.prices are very reasonable. We will keep coming back.
Fantastic food! Loved every dish we had. Cocktail and wine selection were great and service much improved from previous visits. Definitely recommend the Greek Feast. Will be back.
Food and service were good although a little over priced for what you you get. Food was well seasoned and came out very fast. Drinks were really nice too
My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant meal at Atalanta Bar and Greek on a Sunday evening. We dined on Saganaki, Goat Croquettes, the 'Goddess ' Fries and the grilled mixed meat skewers for two.<br/ <br/ The service was very good (4) and the food was nice (3), but there was nothing exceptional about the meal.<br/ <br/ I tried a Greek beer Mythos and was not impressed. I would recommend that you steer clear.<br/ <br/ I would be happy to return to Atalanta, but won 't be in any rush to do so.
