Contribuisci feedback26.1.2023 We like their Vietnamese Soup Noodles and Roast Meats so we visited for Australia Day lunch. We ordered half a Roast Duck and a serve of Roast Pork. The Duck was good but the Roast Pork $16.90) was a tiny serve 160-180 grams). The Supervisor informed me that was the correct serving size. Unfortunately, it’s the worst Roast Pork in Sunnybank, fatty with soft chewy skin. Our takeaway dishes were good but again, the serving size was smaller than expected. We hope our next visit will be better.
Food Service Price Environment I would highly recommend their Roast Duck few months ago, but NOT recently. Went there one month ago, found plenty of fur on the roasted duck skin. Gave another try one week later, still the same and I have stop going there since then. Will give a try after few months, perhaps. Nothing much to complaint about their service as it depends whether or not they are busy. Neither busy nor not busy, they never serve me the Hot Tea. So I always self service on this part. Food Taste wise, I like their Sweet Sour Pork and Clay pot dishes. As an Asian, we love ordering steam rice. But don’t expect they serve you with Jasmine Rice/Good Quality Rice here. You can tell the white rice quality after trying, especially those Rice Lover. As a Malaysian living in Singapore for the past 10 years, I wont recommend Singapore Noodle at all. Its totally a different 星洲炒米 taste compare to what I ate before in my whole life, and I can taste the curry powder. So, I wont recommend that unless its your first time trying. Overall, the food is good considering that kind of price.
Food is very average and the service is the worst. Older woman at the cash register is so rude. The way staff speak and treat customers is like they didn’t need to be polite and courteous to be a viable business. Avoid this place like COVID and try Rice Paper Vietnamese Cuisine at Eight Mile Plains. Similar menu and price point but much friendlier service.
If I could, I would give them zero stars. My family had an awful dining experience this Thursday night. First, the staff need to be well trained. A rude waitress in a black shirt served us without any smiles. Dishes were slapped on the table. I wonder why the owner recruits this lady. Second, we waited for 45 minutes to get the first main dish. The restaurant serves the set meals quickly as they have been cooked and prepared. If you want freshly-cooked main dishes, here is not the right place to go. Third, the taste and quality of dishes are below average. We have blacklisted the restaurant and will not go there again.
Good sized restaurant. Pleasant staff. Would be a conducive place for chit chat, if only patrons can learn to speak quietly. Food was average. Laksa with roast duck, came separately. Laksa was very watered down. And the duck, still have guts attached underside and a very pungent duck odour. Totally off putting. The other dish roast pork with fried fish hot pot was the saving grace. It was nice that a jug of Chinese tea came with the required number of glasses. The restaurant seemed to have more Chinese dishes vs Vietnamese dishes as the restaurant name suggested.
