San Ho - Bracken Ridge Australia

This family run restaurant is an unexpected gem! Quite unassuming in appearance, but the menu, food and service is excellent. It's my new favourite local.

This place does great traditional vietnamese. While it may not look like the most appealing place it is much better than most places in Brisbane!

So here is another local eatery that has a really good menu selection. Don't just look from the outside and not give it a go.Food is of a very high standard and quantity is good. There is always lots of food and I believe it looks like a family run business with a lovely smile to greet you.

How is is that I have to give this place a rating before I can post my review? Terrible. Quail over deep- fried and dry. Spring rolls and duck spring rolls tasted and looked like something from a party pack. Crispy skin chicken was a joke, pre cooked chicken, deep fried crispy skin but the meat was dried and charred so couldn't eat it. Chicken fried rice was just that....fried rice with bits of chicken in it. The beef pho? It never arrived so I'll never know....! When I complained the waiter apologised and explained that they were busy with takeaways. Guess what? Get out of the restaurant business and open a takeaway! One to avoid at all costs unless you are having a boozy night in with your mates and the footy. Then any takeaway will do....

I've been here a few times, the first few times it decent. Serving sizes are little bit small. But the last time I went there... Didn't go so well. I love crispy noodles any day. But the one they had there was terrible. Basically inedible. So it's safe to say I won't be going there again.
