Pandas Sushi And Chinese - Brackenfell

When the lockdown of 2020 happened I only missed Pandas, Nuff said.

Definitely a hidden gem! We ordered sweet and sour chicken and it exceeded all of our expectations. The portion size was very generous for the price. Definitely one of the best sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever had.

Staff is so friendly and welcoming. The sushi was perfect!! The atmosphere was also so relaxing, making the whole experience one worthwhile the repeat.

Moved back into the neighbourhood recently and had to swing by my old favourite.<br/ <br/ They are still as good as they were before.<br/ <br/ Same owner/manager although differrent staff. <br/ <br/ Had the meal for 3: sweet and sour chicken, sichuan beef, pork chop suey, spring rolls, egg fried rice, noodles and fortune cookies. All for R170. I ordered chicken and egg flake soup as an extra.<br/ <br/ Good portion sizes, crisp veggies, soft meat. It was good. Glad to be back around the corner to make it a regular visit.

Having visited an array of sushi restaurants around the country, I can honestly say that out of all of them, Panda's sushi still stay at the top of my list when it comes to quality. Most sushi restaurants load their sushi with rice and add as little salmon as possible in order to increase profitability, but not Panda's. They are generous with their salmon and manage to create awesome flavours by the way they compile their sushi pieces.
