Contribuisci feedbackWalked through the door and was very impressed with the décor, so had high hopes. We sat at the bar for a quick drink and saw the staff arguing, but thought nothing of it. We were then shown to our seat which, can only have been next to the fire exit, which was freezing cold, we asked to be moved, but were moved to the next table, which was just as cold, eventually we moved in to the main restaurant which was fine. We ordered the pork scratchings, while we waited for the starters, but the starters came first. My partner ordered a medium Fillet, which was perfect, I ordered a medium rare Sirloin which was cold and more cooked than the Fillet, we ordered a side of mushrooms which were forgotten..... and the table next to us were complaining that their mac cheese had been forgotten also. The bill was £96 we only had one small glass of wine, a beer and a cocktail, so didn't drink much alcohol . We travelled from Reading and just think with all the issues, you would get a better meal, in a better atmosphere and cheaper at Miller Carter.

The steak was overcooked and overpriced. We were not offered any additional drinks when our glasses were empty. The calamari was soggy instead of crispy. The mayonnaise had been left out for so long that it began to separate in the container. Despite there being empty tables, all diners were crowded together in a row. For a meal that cost £100, it was not worth it.
I've been to greens steakhouse before, but I wanted to try the roast one. Being vegetarian I had asked if she had the sweetheart, but unfortunately after my order 5 minutes later I was told that they did not have it and if I wanted to choose something else. with my hopes not to be fulfilled (yes) I had to think of plan b. the dame that then served us went on to say the kitchen was happy to change the frying with other dings from the menu easily so that I could still have the frying I wanted. I am very satisfied with the service I received, and even happier with my roast! for the inconveniences before we buy our meals, said another waiter, he would have taken the drinks from our bill for inconvenience. honestly, best service I had received in the old! I recommend this place very and happy back more than later. keep them the amazing customer service. we go on
