The food itself is tasty and closely resembles traditional Thai dishes, but the portion sizes are small. My Tom Kha Gai only had chicken and mushrooms, lacking the vegetables and aromatics typically found in this dish. The same was true for the satay chicken skewers, which were served without any garnishes such as cucumber or salad. Usually, a meal at a Thai restaurant is enough for me, but here I found myself having to order a third dish in order to get some vegetables. This restaurant may be better suited for groups who can share items, as the portion sizes are small for a single person. However, the tempura was quite good.
Nice little restaurant with good food and friendly service. Not licensed but byo. Priced very reasonable.
Very friendly welcomand service. This family run business is a joy to visit. The food is good, but not to the highest level of Thai cuisine, and you won't be charged the highest of Thai prices either. So, it's a good deal all round. I don't always want a superb meal, and I certainly do't always want to pay superb prices.
I have been to this restaurant several times. Always a good night with geea5t service, excellent food and very reasonable prices in a central location. I will definitely be going back again!
Now to be fair we were a walk in crowd of over 20 and they seemed a bit overwhelmed but if you are going to have a menu then be prepared to cook everything on it. I had the honey chicken and they must have simply battered chicken skins and then deep fried them before drowning them in a sticky sauce. I may have hit the worst option - and there was me thinking I was playing it safe. Some people did state that they had a nice prawn curry but overall this was visited on the first night of ten and no-one was rushing back.It was not expensive and Canberra is but sad to say I found much better dining options in Canberra
