To start, all fans were funneled through a single entry point with just one metal detector, leading to an extremely long line that wrapped through the parking lot and down the street. We later found out that there was a shorter line on the other side, but there were no attendants to inform the large crowd on our side. This confusion extended to the concession stands as well. For example, getting a lemonade turned into a time-consuming ordeal — it took at least two innings. The process was strange, requiring us to stand in two separate long lines. First, you had to pay for the drink, and then, after that, you had to go to the back of another long line to actually pick it up. I pitied the workers, who seemed overworked and didn’t get breaks. The poor cashier was also responsible for helping prepare drinks, which meant that at times, the first line would come to a standstill. No one was there to restock supplies, so the process would frequently halt as they went to fetch more ice, lemons, and other items. If you can visit on a day with a smaller crowd and if you manage to avoid the effects of the mismanagement and understaffing, you might enjoy this charming ballpark. We still had a good time, but it could have been so much better, especially compared to the experiences I've had at other parks.
It's a local spot, making it a great option for our team when we want to catch a game at reasonable prices. However, with the lower cost comes a few downsides: limited seating information, some severely obstructed views, and the food is just mediocre (if I'm being generous). Parking is easily accessible nearby for around $10, followed by a brief walk. Additionally, they mostly offer Pirates merchandise, which I think is a missed opportunity.
Doing tourist things Beach n Ballgames was on the list of to do's .....Great place to catch a game! Not a bad seat in the house in my perspective. The small number of food stations had a variety of menus and pricing wasn't expensive.. The beverage stands both adult and kid friendly had reasonable prices and I was pleasantly surprised. I could only Imagine how rockin this place is during spring training season!!! The parking is super close to the main gate I am in firm belief that the overall planning and logistics of this stadium are professionally done and handled well! We parked right behind home plate!!! This stadium is a must visit if in the area and you like baseball. With the family friendly vibe. The walk to the outfield is just was the girls needed. Bartender at Kona bar was super nice and got me a much needed cup of ice and ice cold beer on this day. 10/10 times I would return... I have yet to have a bad time at a minor league game Thank you Bradenton for having us!!! We shall return! Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma
Being a native Pittsburgh girl, we decided to drive down to Bradenton to go to a Pirates spring training game. The game started at one on Sunday, and the weather was perfect. The stadium is very fan friendly. Every seat provides a good view. My husband spent 40 dollars a seat and got us great seats near the first base line. Before the game, we walked around the entire stadium to check it out. There are plenty of drink and food concessions so everyone should be able to find something they like. We opted for the bratwurst sandwiches, fully loaded. They were delicious. A great way to spend an afternoon.
