Contribuisci feedbackWhen I visit a new sushi restaurant, I always like to order the simple rolls first to judge the most basic marker of quality in sushi. The freshness of the fish. Sushi Hana does not disappoint in that regard. Since my first visit a couple of years ago, it has been my go-to when I am in the area. The prices are fairly standard and the rolls are a good size for the price. For example, their Mexican roll is two shrimp wide instead of one which has been more common in my experience from other restaurants. With their specialty rolls, while they are usually almost double the price of the regular rolls, they are well worth it with the variety of flavors and amount of food they offer. While Sushi Hana cannot offer the value proposition of an all-you-can eat sushi place like Ginza or Ichiban for when you just want to stuff your face with raw fish like a shark, the quality of the food and the atmosphere of a small sushi shop brings a different experience. If you are craving sushi in the area, I definitely recommend giving it a shot.
The food was very tasty they have a large selection. We ordered 4 different sushi rolls their avocado bomb. The rolls are a little pricey. The service was great.Food: 4/5
My coworker.and I decided to try this place since it’s local. I ordered the chicken/steak hibachi entree for $21 and I received $18 worth of vegetables and $3 worth of rice and protein. Our first indication should have been that there was one person dining in during a Thursday lunch day. Order out like Chinese food because dining in here will sadly discourage you. There’s a lot of hibachi places in Sarasota/Bradenton that have a much better environment. Sadly, last time for me.
Sorely disappointed. I was eager to try Sushi Hana because of the good reviews, but came away very disappointed. There were three of us. One ordered the teriyaki beef, and it was fine. I ordered a California roll, which tasted okay, but was warm. I also ordered tempura vegetables and my fiance' ordered tempura shrimp. Tempura should have a light batter, but both of ours were fried in something more akin to a pancake batter and quite greasy. I peeled the batter off my vegetables to eat them. He ate the shrimp with the heavy, greasy, batter, but they were pretty small. Atmosphere and service were great, but we won't return.
Love their Sushi! It's the best I've come across since moving here from My home state of Ct. Will continue buying from here reasonable prices for everything on the menu. I've tried a few New To Me things that turned out being just wonderful. Haven't eaten indoors yet, but plan on it soon. Everyone is so friendlt tooVegetarian options: Have plenty of.I usually will get either their Spider Roll or any other w/ cooked eel. Fantastic.I always get parking right in front tooParking: Have enough handicapped parking as well.
