The Banana Factory - Bradenton

Solid 4 stars all the way. This place was recommended by my barber and it totally lived up to his review. The menu had lots of options and the prices were real good. We ordered a few chicken dishes, calamari, a side of meatballs with bread. Everything was delicious. My wife also ordered a side salad which was outstanding. The portions were perfect and the local vibe made you feel welcomed. There was live music, and if you 're a smoker (I 'm not) you 're in luck. I haven 't stepped into a smoking bar/restaurant, in years. So if smoke bothers you and the place is busy, you may be disappointed. Not sure how it would be on a quiet night. Overall we had a real good experience and wouldn 't hesitate to go back.

I was there just a few times ,but each time the people were nice and the bartenders and servers were also. I liked the kind of hang-out neighborhood feeling of it. The bingo night is Tuesday -quite a hoot and can win great money. Haven 't done my favorite yet which is Karaoke.. Looking forward to returning.

We were in the area for the weekend and were looking for some live music. Unfortunately, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks, only to be informed that there was a shift change. My husband then went up to the bar to inquire, but after waiting another 20 minutes, we still hadn’t received any drinks. Frustrated, we decided to leave.

Great place to get shot at in the parking lot. The clientele is bit scetchy. Parking sucks.

This is a fantastic dive bar! It's a lot of fun, especially with karaoke nights and ladies' night events. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is lively. It's open late, making it a great place to enjoy a good time, even in the wee hours!
