Contribuisci feedbackI am a BIG fan of Nando's Peri Peri Chicken., so was intrigued when I discovered O Poleiro on a business trip to Bradford. The staff person (I believe it was the owner) was efficient, informative and entertaining. The meal (chicken, with rice potatoes) was exceptional (better than Nando's). I will be back!. BTW, I ate in, but with room for 5+, it's better to do take-ou.
Amazing food Best Portuguese Chicken, potatoes, rice The ny and his team make the most scrumptious food Treat guests like family Eat in or take out Never disappointing
When we moved to Braford everyone said to try this place out that it would be amazing. The restaurant is a dump, it seems most of their business is take-away, but you should still take pride in your space. The food was lackluster and not what I'd expect from Portuguese chicken, or any chicken place. Sides were also a disappointment and didn't seem to fresh. Only decent caveat: cook was a nice guy.
I had high hopes for trying Portuguese chicken, rice, and potatoes at this restaurant in Bradford, but unfortunately it was the worst I've ever tasted. I was disappointed and will not be returning.
I have previously written a great review for this place but have since noticed a significant decline in service. Yhe last 4 times I have called to order they have either been closed or advised me that it would take several hours before they could have my order ready and I have had to go elsewhere. Several hours?? Tonight however, after some negotiations, they agreed to have my order ready in 45 min. When we got the food home it was totally different from our last meal. The chicken was bland, overcooked, with no seasoning. Honestly, the rotisserie chicken from Wal-Mart was better. The potatoes were so overcooked that they had turned to mush and they were sitting in an inch of oil. Totally unedible. The salad was a heap of soggy mush and about 1/2 the size it used to be. How disappointing! This place has gone from one of the best meals in town, to the absolute worst. Did they change chefs? What went wrong?
