Greengate Fisheries - Bradford

Having moved to the area quite recently we tried a few fish and chip shops before we settled on Greengates. You always get a good portion of fresh well cooked fish and plenty of chips. I enjoy the way they cook the meal with the chips having a cooked colour and full of flavour. Fish is fresh , lovely white meat and a crispy batter. Staff are friendly and are kept busy with a steady flow of customers. Well done!

Never had a bad meal from the family run business. Always very fresh fish big portions too without any inflated prices. Know it for cash only policy which I could see being a problem if you nip in unplanned, but as long as you know it’s not a problem. Never tried anywhere else locally since trying here.

I called in spontaneously after getting stuck in traffic due to roadworks and WOW, I’m glad I did! Absolutely lovely!! Perfectly cooked fish and proper chippy chips!! Great portion size and good value for money. Staff are refreshingly friendly and obliging. They don’t appear to make conversation for the sake of it, they’re actually naturally engaging with their customers! Would recommend highly!!!! 5star across the board.
