I pulled up here with my van for a drink and a feed and to ask if there was a caravan park nearby, but they said that Braidwood doesn't have a caravan park. (It should! However the folk at the Services Club kindly allow self contained vans and Tv's to stay in their carpark, which borders on the golf course. Bargain! A free camp, plus only metres to a feed and a beer. Real friendly folk and I won TWO meat trays! Freezer and tummy filled!
Great place for a stopover .... can park in the huge carpark if self contained Beer is cold and the restaurant chinese/thai is well priced and a good feed ....a little plain tho.
Worst chinese food we have ever eaten. Food came out cold. Prawn toast was so oily couldn't eat it. Omelette was flavourless as the fried rice. Honey prawns were soggy and stone cold. Mongolian combination just tasted like soy sauce. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place if you like good Chinese food. When mentioned to staff they diddnt take any intrest.
