We stayed overnight in the area for a funeral and I was a bit concerned because the room was only £50, but I didn't need to worry. The room was spacious enough for the two of us, with a comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. When we arrived late due to traffic, the kitchen was closed so we grabbed a pizza from a nearby takeaway. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar, which was quiet except for a few loud locals. The wet room bathroom had a fantastic shower and the bed was very comfortable. A few minor things needed attention, such as cleaning the chair arms and fixing the TV screen. The full English breakfast was delicious, with high-quality ingredients and generous portions. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely return, especially for the affordable price.

I recently visited the Waggon and Horse's after arriving in London and was in the mood for a Sunday Roast. We randomly chose this restaurant and I'm so glad we did. It's a family-run establishment with warm and friendly staff. The roast was outstanding, with tender meat, fresh vegetables, and a huge Yorkshire pudding. The only downside is that I live in London, otherwise I would eat their Sunday roast every week. It's definitely worth a visit. -Rob

We had a great experience when we visited this restaurant. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable. The food was filling and delicious, and the chef was friendly and had a great sense of humor. We had no complaints and the service was very welcoming.

She stayed here for a night on the way to suffolk. had a nice eating, huge portions. room was simple, but clean. that's all you really need. it means that it is a star hotel, some people forget that. renter and renter very friendly...and helpful. will be staying defo again.

On Saturday afternoon I visited with my partner a fast drink. very poor service, although barmaids chatting with another customer at the time, she called into the back room for service. after a further minute a man appeared and served other women who had appeared nothing and were clearly pushed into. barmann totally ignored me and served them independently.
