Travelled from wakefield on recommendation from family member for a birthday meal and what a gem of a place. Could not fault the food at all and all at the rite price, the owners are fantastic friendly and abliging will definitely be back and thank you Vicki brown for the heads up... We managed to get in via a post on Facebook saying a table was available this evening. We arrived to a small establishment located round other shops with plenty of parking around. Upon entering the decor is just perfect for this location and definitely in the style of a bistro. The menu is varied but not to large that you didn’t know what to choose. As it was a Sunday I choose the Sunday roast and my partner picked the steak pie. We wasn’t disappointed and the meats just melted in your mouth. As the portions where quite large I missed out on the puddings. While we sat we noticed a very nice steak go by. I definitely will be back to try this. Just a reminder this establishment is a small business and prefer to have the bill settled in cash so do take some with you.
