I went to pick up food for takeout for dinner because my day got away from me. The service was very unfriendly. I was greeted with a brusque "What do you want?" I placed my order, but there was no other communication, not even a smile. Whatever happened to good customer service and service with a smile? The food was alright, but I don't think I will be returning to this location again.
This restaurant, "Made in Japan: A Teriyaki Experience," offers the same taste and preparation as the food court version in a mall. The consistency is a positive aspect, but the quality of the Japanese food is more comparable to fast food than a traditional sushi restaurant. The meats are thin and dry, with most of the flavor coming from the teriyaki sauce. Overall, it is a decent option for mall food, but don't expect the same quality as a sushi or steakhouse.
