I also want to mention the lady chef, who seemed overly defensive when I asked about some of the dishes. She didn’t embody the typical friendly demeanor you might expect. As for the vegetarian options, the vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and squash were poorly cooked and still tough, particularly in dishes like menudo and pinakbet. It was really disappointing.

I highly recommend the pork empanaditas! I always get a party-sized tray since they're my favorite to bring to Filipino gatherings. I could easily enjoy a whole bunch in one sitting, and the best part is that they don't have any raisins in them, which makes them even better!

The food here is truly delicious! My family and I especially love their Carioca spring rolls.

I ordered chicken noodles, goat stew, and chicken stew, and I haven't enjoyed such delicious, fresh food at such a reasonable price in a long time. The noodles came loaded with chicken and a variety of vegetables, including shredded carrots, cabbage, and snow peas, seasoned perfectly—just like homemade dishes, with the right amount of spice and salt. The goat stew was well-cooked, with tender meat that was full of flavor. The carrots, peas, and potatoes added nutrition and were wonderful with the savory gravy—perfect over steamed rice. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the restaurant had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that felt like home. You can tell the food is made with care and stays true to its presentation. I’ve finally found a place that feels like a home kitchen! I live in Mississauga, but I’ll be coming here regularly when I visit my mom in Brampton. Highly recommended!

Yesterday was my husband’s birthday, and I had originally intended to order party trays from another restaurant that required orders to be placed an hour in advance—unlike most places that ask for a day’s notice. However, my husband wanted to try Filipino food this time. At 3:30 PM, I decided to order a party tray of Mixed Pancit Empanaditas, which are similar to hush puppies, and I’ve enjoyed them there in the past. The restaurant was kind enough to accommodate my last-minute request. We were all very pleased with the taste and quality of the food, especially given the reasonable prices. I truly appreciate their flexibility and fair pricing. My husband had a wonderful time on his special day.
