Let me begin with the fact that I was most hungry that evening, so to facilitate my desperation to eat fast and good I chose this place based on decent reviews and my previous satisfactory encounters with a dish called shawarma poutine. I made the order 15 minutes ahead via ritual and had about 10-15 minutes of travel time to the establishment. I estimated that my food should be ready by the time u pulled up. Upon arrival I proceeded to the ritual pick up spot inside the restaurant, after the clerk spoke to a few patrons he inquired with me about the reason for my visit. I told him I made an order on line. After quickly checking he mumbled something about not having the service set up. I was like what are you talking about?! He replied with “your order should be ready in a couple of minutes” I said ok. 15 minutes goes by ... my order was handed to me (30 minutes after I placed the original order.. it’s just fries.. with shawarma on it, why’d it take so long?! But alas my hunger was way stronger than my curiosity, I took the food and left) I get to the car and impatiently rip the bag off my food (like a kid at Christmas) Oh man... if you ever had the osmos’s shawarma poutine and expect anything similar at this joint, let me save you the bitter disappointment. Swimming in mediocre gravy, chicken looking dryish with requested sauce, wait for it.. on the side in tiny containers. Now I have to struggle to proportionally distribute the sauces on my dish while simultaneously shaking from hunger. Thanks! I wasn’t very happy with this particular process, the sauces weren’t enough to cover the sad, but a very generous serving of basic fries, mediocre gravy and dry chicken. I did what I had to do and finished my food while crying. I’d like to end this story by advising the reader that all food is blessed and I’m normally not a nay sayer, and I’m not too certain about the quality of the other menu items but this shawarma poutine gets a double nay from me. NAY NAY! Thank you for reading. Good bye. Ps: I also ordered a falafel ball. It was alright.
I got king chicken meal. 4 star only because chicken was too less compared to other places. If you can see in the picture, too much fries and a small shawarma. Overall a good experience. Will visit again.
Never had a bad experience here, best location, best shawarma I've had in the gta, customer service is great, you cant go wrong
Employees don't wear their masks which is completely ridiculous during this time. The food alone was not good and they took too long to make it
Came here to try a different shawarma place, food was OK but the customer service was trash and employees were not wearing masks.. as frontline workers in a pandemic? Unacceptable, take your money elsewhere for better food and safety.
