While there was nothing that would prevent me from visiting Shoeless Joe’s again in the future, there was nothing that compelling either.
During our stay at the Courtyard Hotel, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant located across the parking lot. We chose to sit in the bar area and were served by a fantastic waitress named Jay. She provided excellent service and we appreciated her friendly banter. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, with multiple TVs displaying various sports games. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed our dining experience so much that we returned two more times during our stay, each time receiving equally great service and food.
We stopped by Shoeless Joe's for a late lunch after travelling and were looking forward to some food. We were promptly seated in a booth and quickly provided with water. We decided to share a few appetizers - the Buffalo cauliflower, double stacked nachos, and BBQ chicken flatbread. The cauliflower was delicious, not too greasy. However, the nachos were disappointing as they seemed undercooked with cold beef and barely melted cheese. The bottom layer had a lack of toppings. The BBQ chicken flatbread was decent but lacked chicken. The service was excellent, with an apology for the delayed flatbread. Overall, the food was average pub fare and not worth going out of your way for.
During our stay at the Courtyard Hotel nearby, we decided to have dinner at Shoeless Joe's. We found it to be a typical sports bar experience - a bit noisy with a spacious, simple bar area and plenty of tables for dining. There were multiple TVs showing various games. The service was average in terms of speed, and the food, while decent, lacked excitement. The prices were fair for what we received. Overall, there was nothing particularly special about our visit to Shoeless Joe's that would make us rush back, but there was also nothing that would deter us from returning in the future.
The worst service. Forever to eat and no one had an interest in checking whether someone wanted drinks, dessert, etc. I wanted to go after dinner, could not find anyone interested in making an invoice. Other than that, food was sufficient.
