I love this sit-down Jamaican restaurant. there aren't many, so when I go, I really take it. it is not a very big restaurant, but we know the owner. the service must be faster, but eating is so delicious that I don't...mind wait for good. they have a great choice of good. they even have a child menu and vegetarian options. would definitely recommend and return.
That was my third time to visit this restaurant. I have brought my friends and now family and everyone has enjoyed eating there. the service was great and very attentive. the appetizers were great and very full. all meal times were the right temperature and tasted great. they can. Tapas style or full of escape. we will definitely return for many more parties.
We start with the positive: functional sitting Jamaican restaurant you can go date night, family thing, group eating and ordering. the first time always passed, but a few social media post seen by well-known. decided to go a job....Menu was interesting with limited decisions. I have healed goat with pure rice, ruckhan with rice n erbsen, ochsenschwanz with reis n erbsen, paraalat, festival. it was imaginable. it was possible. but it was not enjoyed by me and family, it had no wow factor. we have to make another second attempt.
Today I stopped by Xaymaca for lunch after putting it off for two months. I'm recommending them. I am vegetarian and ordered the Rasta Burger, one of 3 vegan or vegetarian options. I am not a fries person so opted for Garden salad instead of...fries with my burger. The first thing that impressed me about my meal when it arrived was the presentation. It looks like these people care about presentation. I liked how my food was presented on the plate and how it looked. I care about these things. I've had a lot of puny salads in my life so when he told me the alternative to the fries was a garden salad or caesar i wasn't expecting much. My salad was great and also beautifully presented. Now on to the rasta burger. I had a bit of extra avocado on it for 2.00. When I bit in it, my first impression was wow, that's nice. Then I wasted the next few minutes trying to figure out what was in it? is it nutmeg? They seem to have put a nice blend of spices in there. After a while I gave up trying to figure out what was in it and decided to judge it by the criteria that I judge all good meals: It disappeared from my plate very quickly. All in all I was very happy with my visit to Xaymaca and would be happy to go back to try the other two veg options The coconut pasta and the curry chickpeas and lentils.
