Base Pizza Pasta Grill

Small friendly little restaurant in Leven serving burgers, pasta and pizza. Along with more traditional things such as fish, steak pie and scampi. Food is cooked fresh and you can see the kitchen which is good. Food was first class in terms of quality (I had a burger and my wife scampi) and portions were generous. Prices good and the staff friendly sooverall an enjoyable experience!

Stopped in for breakfast, has one of the most comprehensive breakfast menus in the area at a reasonable price, food was good quality and was juce and hot. I would certainly eat here again. Service was also very good.

Excellent food for every course and really friendly staff. Really like the ambience too!

Food was lovely But waited over 50 minutes for one starter which was only nachos. 2 tables came in 15 minutes after us . They received there starter and main meals before we even got our starter . As a chef I know it can get a bit hectic at times. But it was not that busy all we got told is we've just got a new kitchen fitted. Nachos does not take that long then waited about another 20 minutes for our mains. I have had lunch here before I could not fault it that's why I returned to have lunch with my mum but sadly very disappointed. Not sure if you have new management that has taken over if so they need to sort out the service , and how you managed the check that goes through for the Chefs . Again I couldn't fault the food but the waiting time was very poorly.
