Hainesville General Store - Branchville

I visited for the first time and was impressed! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! I highly recommend it!

This is a really cool local café with an amazing breakfast selection! I had been working in the area all week and drove past this place every day. I promised myself that on my last day here, I would stop for breakfast, and I finally did today. I had a bacon and American cheese omelette, and it was fantastic!

We usually just drive past this place, but today we decided to stop in, and we were not disappointed! We ordered two Italian subs and a whole apple caramel pie, and everything was absolutely amazing! We're definitely coming back to try more pies! The staff was also friendly and pleasant.

I also bought some bagels for breakfast the next morning, and they didn't disappoint. However, I was very disappointed to find that the potato salad, macaroni salad, and coleslaw were not homemade. Additionally, I wasn't aware that there was only outdoor seating. Since it was raining and cold, we ended up eating in the car after our long drive home. That said, everyone there was very nice. I'll provide an update once I try the pies.

I've been a loyal customer for nearly 20 years, so I was sad to see the previous owners go. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new owners have maintained the restaurant's traditions while adding some modern twists. The food remains excellent, and there are even some exciting new items to try. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy their offerings—the apple turnovers, in particular, are outstanding!
