I opted for the classic traditional pancake with lemon and sugar, which was both delicious and reasonably priced (especially for Centre Parcs). Additionally, they provide vegetable milk for coffee.
I have been a longtime patron of the pancake house and have always enjoyed their food. However, this was my first time visiting as a vegan. They have a separate menu for vegan options, but I found it odd that one of the items included honeycombs. I decided to try the vegan Dutch apple dessert pancakes, but was disappointed. The toppings were haphazardly thrown together and the pancake itself had a bland taste, almost like plain flour and water with maybe some baking soda. The toppings of apples, sultanas, ice cream, cream, sugar, and cinnamon had potential, but the execution felt lazy. In addition, the server handling my plate had chocolate on her thumb and accidentally left a chocolate smudge on my plate, raising concerns about contamination. Overall, I urge the Pancake House to make improvements to their vegan offerings to ensure a better dining experience for all customers.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the pancake house had introduced a vegan menu, so I decided to sample a sweet pancake dish. While the pancake itself was nothing extraordinary, the toppings were delicious and I appreciated the fact that the restaurant was accommodating to vegans.
The pancake house is not the first place I thought to get good vegan food, but it has a whole vegan menu! The pancakes themselves are quite tasteless and not as good as homemade, but the add-ins make it a novelty: I had the farmers and it was very nice. I didn't try the sweet pancakes because most bananas contain. While there is no vegan children's menu, all Entreés can be served either as a small or regular portion.
Mediocre food and has a long waiting time for a particular reason in the rule.
